Vero Beach, FL – The 2024 Board of Directors for The REALTORS® Association of Indian River County has recently announced the winners who were selected to fill official board positions during the June General Membership Meeting. Members at Dale Sorensen Real Estate are thrilled that their realtors will be maintaining board positions, which include Jennifer Bailey, Troy Westover, and Sally Woods. Each of the candidates has unique backgrounds and cultivated skills which led them to becoming a great fit for the 2024 Board of Directors. 

The selected candidate for President-Elect is Jennifer Bailey, who has been in the real estate business for 14 years. Prior to becoming a residential broker-associate, Jennifer was an Assistant Director of Development for the Vero Beach Museum of Art. She also volunteered for United Way as a Loaned Executive and currently serves as a Calvary PSL volunteer. Her leadership experience in government affairs and as an MLS Committee developed her core values. Jennifer stated that she, “would be honored to continue to uphold the integrity of our Association in any capacity and willing to help our members have all the necessary tools and support they need to effectively continue running their real estate business.”

Troy Westover was selected as her Vice President. Troy has been a real estate professional for over 10 years, in addition to serving for the Indian River County Chair Board of Directors, Professional Standards Committee, and Government Affairs Committee. He was also previously involved in local community projects such as Keep Indian River Beautiful and Habitat for Humanity Charity Golf Tournament. Troy stated that he wants to provide a, “positive attitude, preparation, humility, respect, and 100% effort” to help motivate, support, and educate colleagues, clients, and the community. 

As the newly selected director, Sally Woods will be supporting her comrades with 34 years of experience in the real estate industry. Sally was once employed as a Pan American World Airways Stewardess and was the past president of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority Alumnae. She was previously committed to the REALTORS® Association of Indian River County through her previous duties with the Professional Standards Committee, Board of Directors, Government Affairs Committee, and more. She commented that, “It is not about the power of one but nourishing the brilliance of others. Directors can hopefully stand for purpose and vision.”

Another agent here at Dale Sorensen, Megan Longwell-Raasveldt, will be completing her 2nd Term in September, 2024. She expressed that she is happy to be working with her fellow brokerage members. Megan is both a local and global realtor who is deeply involved in her community, in addition to fulfilling the roles of a mother and business woman. She has been in the real estate industry for over a decade, fulfilling customer needs nationally and internationally. 

The REALTORS® Association Board Of Directors helps positively reshape the community by creating a brighter future for Indian River County’s residents through proper real estate procedures. The board will continue to create a framework by which realtors can progressively gain knowledge and strengthen their expertise.
